The Port Washington School District believes in the value of all students, staff and families, and the need to eliminate bias and disproportionality in our district and schools. We recognize—and reject—the policies, processes and systems that create barriers to success. In our schools, race, ethnicity, language, culture, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status and learning differences have been barriers and should never be predictors of achievement. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for students, staff and families; embracing underrepresented voices in our community; and giving every student what they need to achieve their fullest potential at school and in life.
