The Port Washington School District is expanding its current Universal Pre-K (UPK) program for the 2022-2023 school year. This program is state funded and there will be no cost associated to families upon enrollment. To be eligible for the Port Washington School District's UPK program, your child must live within the Port Washington School District and turn four years old on or before December 1, 2022.
The Port Washington UPK will be able to accommodate a limited number of students. The UPK Program will consist of a full-day program operating five days a week and will follow the Port Washington School District calendar. Transportation will be provided to and from Daly Elementary School. If we have more families interested than we can accommodate, a lottery will be held to decide the students who will be enrolled in the UPK program. Student’s names that are drawn after the class is full will be placed on a waiting list. As a spot opens up, families will be notified via email.
To register, you must complete a UPK packet and all required documents must be completed by August 12th at 2:00 p.m. If packets are incomplete, you will be notified, and have until the August 12th deadline to submit any incomplete information.
Please Note: Registration does not guarantee placement into our program. Families will be notified by August 15th if they are enrolled.

Step 1:
Complete the registration packet for Universal Pre-K and gather all the required documentation (i.e., Proof of Residency, Proof of Date of Birth, Proof of Annual Physical Exam, and Immunizations). Please note that some forms require notarization.

The Port Washington School District will notify you on August 15th if you are enrolled in the UPK program.
