Dear Parents and Guardians:
I hope this note finds you well as we approach the beginning of the new school year. Of the many initiatives in which our district has engaged, the transition to a new Student Information System will be most impactful.
Synergy is the district's new student information system. It has replaced Aspen. Synergy's secure mobile app and parent web-based portal, ParentVUE, will provide information about your student's academic progress, including class grades, attendance and assessments. This is also where you can verify contact information for your child. In fact, when you first login to ParentVUE, you will be required to complete an annual verification process to update parent and emergency contact information for the upcoming school year.
It is important for all parents and guardians to activate their account as ParentVUE is an essential tool for parent school communication.
You will soon receive an email from [email protected] that will contain the activation key needed to create your parent user account. If you do not see this email by the end of Tuesday, be sure to check your spam or junk mail folder.
Please refer to these account set-up instructions when you receive your Synergy email.
- To activate your new ParentVUE account
- Click the ParentVUE Activation link and follow the instructions below.
- Read through the Privacy Statement.
- Click "I Accept" (located at the bottom of the page).
- Enter your own chosen username, password, and your email address. Keep your password memorized and secure.
- Click "Complete Account Activation" to finish setting up the account.
- Click the “Online Registration” button, and then click “Begin Registration”.
- Once complete, review the changes then click the “Submit” button.
- Click the “ParentVUE” button in the top right corner to view the portal.
Notes:
Each parent should create their own ParentVUE account (i.e. not share the same account).
If you have multiple children attending PWUFSD, you do not need to create a separate ParentVUE account for each child. The information for your child/all children is accessible from the same account.
You must activate your ParentVUE web portal account before using the ParentVUE mobile app.
Using the ParentVUE Mobile App
- Go to your iOS or Android App store.
- Search the store for the free "ParentVUE" app by Edupoint and install the app.
- Within the app, search for the Port Washington School District name by zip code (11050).
- Use your newly created ParentVUE account username and password (as part of the "ParentVUE Activation Directions" above) to log in and see your child's school information on your mobile device.

Para activar su nueva cuenta ParentVUE
Haga clic en el enlace Activación de ParentVUE y siga las instrucciones a continuación.
Lea la Declaración de privacidad.
Haga clic en "Acepto" (ubicado en la parte inferior de la página).
Ingrese su propio nombre de usuario, contraseña y dirección de correo electrónico. Mantenga su contraseña memorizada y segura.
Haga clic en "Activación de cuenta completa" para terminar de configurar la cuenta.
Haga clic en el botón "Registro en línea" y luego haga clic en "Comenzar registro".
Una vez completado, revise los cambios y luego haga clic en el botón "Enviar".
Haga clic en el botón "ParentVUE" en la esquina superior derecha para ver el portal.
Notas:
Cada padre debe crear su propia cuenta ParentVUE (es decir, no compartir la misma cuenta).
Si tiene varios niños que asisten a PWUFSD, no necesita crear una cuenta ParentVUE separada para cada niño. Se puede acceder a la información de su hijo/a de todos los niños desde la misma cuenta.
Debe activar su cuenta del portal web ParentVUE antes de usar la aplicación móvil ParentVUE.
Uso de la aplicación móvil ParentVUE
Vaya a su tienda de aplicaciones iOS o Android.
Busque en la tienda la aplicación gratuita "ParentVUE" de Edupoint e instálela.
Dentro de la aplicación, busque el nombre del distrito escolar de Port Washington por código postal (11050).
Utilice el nombre de usuario y la contraseña de su cuenta de ParentVUE recién creada (como parte de las "Instrucciones de activación de ParentVUE" anteriores) para iniciar sesión y ver la información de la escuela de su hijo en su dispositivo móvil.
