Dear Port Washington Parents,
Each year, Schreiber High School collaborates with 10 of our neighboring high schools to put on a science fair for students. This year, the fair is scheduled for Sunday, April 14th, 2024 at Syosset High School; it begins at 8AM and should wrap up around noon. At this time, we are still in need of judges in many fields, especially in General Biology and Behavioral Science.
We know that there are so many things that add to our calendars, but we cannot run a well organized fair without the support of judges from many fields. We, the research teachers who are the facilitators of this competition, are now reaching out to our respective communities for help. If you have any experience with research and feel like you can provide strong critique and feedback for our students, please consider registering as a judge. Judges will receive a full breakfast and lunch, as well as a gift card.

Please feel free to forward this email to anyone who you think might be interested in judging. The more judges, the better the experience for our young researchers. Please note that you can be a judge even if you have a student participating in the fair, as you will be assigned to a category in which you have no affiliation.
