Join us as GUYS & DOLLS rolls onto the Schreiber stage, allowing audiences to revel in this award-winning classic that gambles with luck and love under the bright lights of Broadway. Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, Guys and Dolls features classic songs such as “Bushel And A Peck”, “Luck Be A Lady Tonight” and “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat” , just to name a few. This oddball comedy takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City. The wonderful cast of characters in the company of Guys and Dolls brings the brassy, immortal score by Frank Loesser and witty book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows to life.

The gifted and dedicated pit orchestra includes Matisse Byrnes, Naomi Caplin, Stefano Capobianco, Marshall Cheung, Zadia Deyhimi. Leah Dong, Simone Gordon, Aisling Hassett, Leo Herman, Quinton Hu,Tad Lee, Maximo Lopez, Ryan Messinger, Cassidy Metzner, Estelle Moon, Aiden Piriyatamwong, Naveen Rao, Connor Roditi, Minseong Seo, Maggie Shu, Thomas Stylianos & Coraline Wong.
Ms. Lauren Foster-Holzer directs the production with Ms. Valentina Scotto as assistant director and Ms. Christine Nelson as producer. Ms. Floryn Glass Stock choreographs, with Ms. Kaitlin Szczesny as assistant choreographer. Ms. Carly Clancy and Ms. Amanda Johnson are the vocal music directors with Mr. Anthony Pinelli, Jr. as the pit orchestra director. Mr. Tyler Mason-Draffen is the technical director, with Mr. Benjamin Hegarty as technical consultant and Mr. & Mrs. Richie and Helen Albertson as scenic designers, artists and set builders. Costume design is by Ms. Christine Nelson, with assistance from Ms. Leah Siskin and Ms. Hannah Siskin. Props are designed by Ms. Leah Siskin, and Ms. Hannah Siskin assists with hair, makeup and stunt coordination along with promotional photography provided by Mr. Michael Siskin.
Performances of GUYS & DOLLS are March 7th and 8th at 7:30pm and matinee performances on March 8th and 9th at 2:00pm. Tickets can be purchased on cur8.com by entering “Paul D. Schreiber HS” in the search.
This production is presented through special arrangement with MTI and contains some mature themes and subject matter.
