Weber’s 8th grade Science Core Extension classes participated in New York State Department of Health’s annual Radon Poster Contest—and they crushed it!
Students from Mrs. Lindstadt-Iurka and Ms. Heyne’s classes put their creativity to work, competing against schools across the state to raise awareness about the dangers of indoor radon gas and the importance of home testing. Out of 80+ high quality entries, Port Washington students placed in every top spot!
