The Daly Elementary Robotics Club, made up of talented fifth graders, is hard at work combining research, engineering, and coding skills to prepare for the First LEGO League Challenge competition. In this exciting program, students collaborate to design and program robots to solve real-world problems. They then compete against many other schools/districts on Long Island at regional FLL (First Lego League) events.
On Sunday, December 8, 2024, a group of ten students from the club participated in a practice competition in Bethpage, performing very well for their first attempt. This experience is helping them gear up for their big qualifier competition at the end of January.
We’re proud of Daly’s Robotics Club and look forward to seeing their creativity and teamwork in action!
