Paul D. Schreiber High School Students Excel in 2024 National Language Exams

Paul D. Schreiber High School proudly announces the achievements of its students in the 2024 national high school language exam contests. These exams, held annually by leading educational language organizations, include the American Classical League (ACL), American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), American Association of Teachers of Italian (AATI), and American Association of Teachers of Spanish & Portuguese (AATSP).

Every March, students from Paul D. Schreiber High School participate in these competitions, demonstrating their language proficiency and dedication. This year, many students received national recognition across various languages and levels. 

Achievements by Language:

Italian:

  • 60 Honorable Mentions

These accomplishments highlight the students' dedication to language studies and the excellent instruction from the World Language teachers at Paul D. Schreiber High School. Their efforts have created an environment where students can excel and achieve high proficiency in multiple languages.

Ms. Carol Ferrante, World Language Chair at Paul D. Schreiber High School, expressed her pride in the students’ achievements and the recognition they have earned. She stated, “Our students' success in these exams underscores their dedication and the high standards set by our world language department. We are thrilled to see their hard work and passion for languages recognized on a national scale. Congratulations to all our students for their outstanding accomplishments.”

The school also acknowledges the ACL, AATF, AATI, and AATSP for their continued support in promoting language learning and providing opportunities for students to showcase their skills on a national level.
