On May 23, 2024, students from Schreiber HS and Weber MS participated in the final ¼ mile walk as the culmination of the Journey for The Living with Holocaust survivor Mark Schonwetter. Students first listened to Mark’s message of kindness and love for one another as a way to combat hate. Port Washington students have walked more than 3000 miles during the month of May during physical education classes as part of the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation's annual event.
