All eligible students must be five years old on or before December 1, 2023, for September 2023 admission and reside within the Port Washington School District.
All student registrations can be done electronically or in person. All registration packets can be downloaded from this website or picked up in the Administrative Annex at 90 Avenue C.

Currently enrolled Port Washington PreK students
Step 1:
Complete the appropriate registration packet either the New Student packet or the District/Universal Pre-K to Kindergarten Universal Pre-K students for those children who are currently enrolled in one of our district programs. Gather all the required documentation (i.e., Proof of Residency, Proof of Date of Birth, Proof of Annual Physical Exam, and Immunizations). Please note that some forms require notarization.
Step 2:
Email the registration packet and all required documents to [email protected]
Families will receive an email indicating when their packet is received and if all of the documents are complete.
Step 3:
The elementary school that your child is enrolled in will contact you regarding the date and time for their Kindergarten screening and orientation.
