1)    The Social and Emotional Impacts Within a Student’s Acculturation Process.

This workshop intends to educate parents regarding the most frequent challenges and struggles affecting their children due to their acculturation process. This workshop will describe to parents how adapting to American culture affects their children's lives throughout multiple levels and their family dynamics. The main goal of this workshop is to provide parents with recommendations for effective, parental supportive strategies to help their children succeed socially and emotionally.

2)    Los Impactos Sociales y Emocionales Dentro Del Proceso De Aculturación Del Estudiante.

Este taller pretende educar a los padres sobre los desafíos y luchas más frecuentes que afectan a sus hijos como resultado de su proceso de aculturación. Este taller se enfocará en describir cómo las diferentes fases del proceso de aculturación afectan las vidas de sus hijos en múltiples niveles y la dinámica familiar cuando están adoptando la cultura estadounidense. El objetivo principal de este taller es brindar a las padres recomendaciones de estrategias efectivas de apoyo para ayudar a sus hijos a tener éxito socioemocionalmente.
